Connect AdaptClose to ChatGPT

AdaptClose isn't in the ChatGPT app directory yet. We'll update this page when it is.

Until then, ChatGPT connects to AdaptClose in developer mode. Developer mode is for ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces, and only on ChatGPT on the web. The mobile apps don't have these settings. A workspace admin or owner adds AdaptClose once, then each person connects.

An admin adds AdaptClose​

You need the server URL:

  1. In ChatGPT settings, open Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode. Each admin turns it on for themselves.
  2. In Workspace settings, open Apps and click Create.
  3. Name it AdaptClose, paste the server URL, and set authentication to OAuth.
  4. Click Scan Tools. ChatGPT opens the AdaptClose sign-in. Sign in and approve.
  5. When the scan finishes, click Create.
  6. Try AdaptClose in a chat. Then, in Workspace settings > Apps, pick AdaptClose under Drafts and click Publish.

Each person connects​

  1. In ChatGPT settings, open Apps and find AdaptClose. It has a Custom label.
  2. Click Connect.
  3. Sign in and approve with your own AdaptClose account.

OpenAI moves these settings from time to time. If a step doesn't match what you see, follow OpenAI's developer mode guide.

Use it in a chat​

Pick AdaptClose from the tools menu in the chat, then ask. ChatGPT may ask you to confirm before a tool changes data. When it asks depends on your workspace's settings.

ChatGPT can't send a file from your computer to AdaptClose. To grade a call, give it a link to the audio. See Upload a call.

Disconnect​

Disconnect AdaptClose under Apps in your ChatGPT settings. An admin removes it for the whole workspace under Workspace settings > Apps.
